Things to Do as a Newbie

 

Your first few days will include making sure you are connected to the content and systems that enable you to do your work:

  1. Ensure your IDIR is set-up so you have access to teams, Outlook, and all the government portals 

  2. Map your LAN drives and confirm you have access with the Branch Administrator

  3. Use your government email to set up a Trello account.

  4. For MURAL, your respective Branch Admin will assign you a license

  5. Check that you can access to Sharepoint 

  6. Check that you have access to eapprovals  

  7. You will use Time and Pay (TLAM)> Self Service to record your leave such as vacation and sick leave. Please familiarize yourself with the system using the TLAM Quick Guide for employees and TLAM job aids 

 

We will make sure you know the onboarding items you need to complete in the first few weeks of your job. As a start, check out the resources below:
