SPRINT TO SPRINT
We’re a team that strives to keep an agile mindset and are currently organizing our work using the scrum framework.
We run in two-week sprints starting on the pay week Thursday and touch base each day for 15 minutes at 9:30am. Sprint ceremonies are required meetings for core team members, though we have a lot of retrospective conversation around the best way for us to work together. If the current meeting structure isn’t working for you, please speak up and let Justine Houchin or Priya S. know.
What’s missing? There are currently no sprint reviews in our calendar. These are key sprint ceremonies, and we’re working with branch leadership to get them set up in a way that makes sense for our organization
We use Jira for most of our planning and backlog refinement. Find our backlog & current sprint board here. We do estimate our capacity using story points, which you can read about here.
