OBJECTIVE 4 Secure MCIO Strategic Council & DMCDD endorsement of 5-year IT forward plan by March 2025 to help shape prioritization & investment.

DTC OKR Alignment:

OBJECTIVE 4 IMIT Talent Strategy approved by DMCDD and/or DMCPSR by 2024/2025.

 ðŸŽ¯ Objective 2: Leadership, partners, and other impacted parties support and collaborate on implementation of the Digital Talent Strategy.

Key Result: A governance model is endorsed by DMCDD for further discovery, change management, and implementation work.

DO-519 - Getting issue details... STATUS

  1. Strategy: Discovery, research, and governance analysis to bring 2-3 gov model options to DMCDD (ideally by September 2024).

    1. Tactic: Policy analysis of current rights to authority, transfers, gaps

    2. Tactic: Discovery & engagement with interested parties on priority model characteristics, key roles & responsibilities, application in delivery areas

    3. Tactic: Development, prototyping and testing governance models - possibly with a MAS partner.

    4. Tactic: Develop a supporting business case

    5. Tactic: GCIO & DM briefing and approval

    6. Tactic: DMCDD materials - presentation, potential supporting research/data analysis

POSSIBLE PIVOT
Key Result: Develop and test the wireframe of one skills-based career/learning path to roll out gov-wide.

  1. Strategy: Work with NRIDS to benchmark skills of one discipline across positions and seniority
