We agree to be responsible for managing government records in a responsible and professional manner, in accordance with government legislation and retention.
We agree to be responsible for the appropriate records management of files for our own portfolios.
The (director/manager/supervisor/admin?) is the final authority for approval of all retention and disposition schedules.
We agree to ensure that employees have the training, resources, and materials they need to create and maintain records, in all media, that are trustworthy, useable, retained and disposed of in accordance with approved schedules.
We agree that all retention and disposal schedules will be reviewed to ensure that the schedules meet legislative requirements. For support, please contact: GRS@gov.bc.ca
We agree that live working documents will live in Teams, and final versions of documents will live on the LAN.
We agree that review of live files on Teams and subsequent filing to the LAN will be done on a (quarterly/annual?) basis.
We agree that files pertaining to the group’s activities will be available to members of the group in a shared location.
We agree that the Digital Academy shared inbox will house only transitory files that will be deleted in accordance with approved disposal schedules on a (quarterly/monthly) basis.
