Roadmap Q & A
# How are we achieving Accessibility
We are starting with "let's make sure we have the A's covered. More details at How to Meet WCAG (Quickref Reference) (w3.org)
Next step is WCAG "AA" level items.
AAA level would not be something we could achieve independent of the Form Designers, we will be AA and that will enable Form Designers to achieve AAA level. It would be a joint effort.
AAA compliance is not mandatory.
# modularity
CHEFS will be evolving towards greater modularity over the next few years, allowing individual components to be used independently as building blocks. The goal is to increase decoupling and create 'packaged business capabilities' with fewer hard-coded features. Feature toggling will be available on new features to ensure that creating a quick form remains straightforward.
# Hosting tier
CHEFS will be moving into GOLD hosting tier this year 2024.
# Forms runtime and designer
The forms runtime, where users fill out forms, will be configured to run in Gold with disaster recovery failover enabled. This ensures that if an outage occurs while a form is being filled out, the partially completed form will be preserved. After failover, users can continue filling out the form without any data loss from their session
Forms designer which will run in similar fashion as It is now.
In roadmap for year 2024.
